Which destinations in the Alps does Chalet Exclusive cover?
We represent luxury chalets in premier resorts such as Courchevel, Verbier, Zermatt, Chamonix, Megève, St. Anton, Val d’Isère, Méribel and beyond. For other Alpine resorts, our consultants will advise on the best fit for your needs.

Are your team members local to the resorts?

Does Chalet Exclusive work directly with property owners?
In most cases, we work directly with property owners or their appointed managers, ensuring rigorous standards and the fastest response to client requests.

How do I search and book a chalet or apartment?
Use our detailed online search and book online or contact our knowledgeable team for tailored recommendations.

Can you accommodate last-minute bookings or longer stays?
Yes, subject to availability. We regularly arrange both last-minute getaways and extended stays. Please provide your requirements and we’ll respond promptly.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend securing popular chalets 9 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, school holidays). However, some excellent options remain available closer to your travel dates.

Can I modify my booking after confirmation?
Amendments are subject to availability and owner approval. We will always endeavor to accommodate changes and transparently communicate any fees involved.


Payments

What is the payment schedule for my booking?
A deposit (typically 25-50%, depending on property and dates) secures your booking. The remaining balance is due 8-12 weeks prior to arrival. Full details are provided at reservation.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All transactions are securely processed.

Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all properties. This is usually held until post-departure inspection and returned within 14 days unless damage or loss is reported.

What is your cancellation policy?
Policies vary by property. Most bookings are non-refundable, particularly during peak season. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment. Full terms are provided before you commit.


The Chalets and Apartments

What is included in my chalet rental?
All properties include premium bed linen, towels, WiFi and local support. Upscale properties include also toiletries, daily or bi-weekly cleaning, firewood. Many chalets also offer private chefs, in-house spa facilities, chauffeur service, and inclusive food and beverages. Are chalets suitable for families with young children?
Yes, many chalets are equipped with cots, high chairs, playrooms, sledges, toys, and stair gates. Childcare, babysitting, and children’s equipment (monitors, safety kits) can be arranged. Please request when booking.

Can groups of friends book your chalets?
Absolutely—our portfolio includes multi-bedroom chalets perfect for groups of all sizes, with spacious entertainment areas and privacy for every guest.

Are pets allowed in any properties?
Some chalets and ski apartments are pet-friendly. Please check property details or ask us so we can match you with suitable options.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is from 4pm; check-out is by 10am. Early arrivals/late departures can sometimes be arranged and luggage storage is typically available.

What happens if something in the chalet doesn’t work or is damaged?
In-resort support is included. If you experience any issues, notify us or the in-resort manager and we will resolve the matter promptly. Damage beyond normal wear may be deducted from the security deposit.

Can you arrange airport or train station transfers and in-resort transportation?
We offer private transfers from all nearby airports and train stations. Many luxury chalets also include a dedicated in-resort driver.

What about ski passes, lessons, and equipment hire?
We can pre-book lift passes, ski equipment, guides, and lessons (private or group) to minimize time in queues and ensure best rates. Please inquire with our concierge team for applicable conditions.

Is grocery delivery or pre-arrival fridge stocking available?
Yes, we arrange gourmet grocery deliveries and pre-arrival kitchen stocking, tailored to your preferences and for an extra cost. Many chalets also provide a full board or half board dining plan with private chef.

Do you offer restaurant reservations or local activity booking?
Our concierge team can secure restaurant reservations, book non-ski activities and organize special events. Please inquire with us.

Are dietary restrictions/allergies catered for?
Absolutely. Inform us of any requirements ahead of your stay and we’ll relay them to your chef or catering staff.

How secure are your chalets?
Security is a high priority; chalets feature secure access, safes, and some have alarm systems. In-resort managers are available and privacy is assured.

Is there a local representative or emergency contact?
Yes, all guests have a dedicated local contact and the Chalet Exclusive concierge line is available for any information request you may have.

What about medical emergencies?
We or our local partner can provide a list of local doctors and emergency numbers and can arrange private medical support if needed.

Are travel insurance and COVID-19 coverage required?

Are your chalets accessible for guests with mobility needs?
